We have happily worked with this company for many years, over numerous projects.
Our latest has been for 4×4 trucks such as Ford Ranger Tremors, and Toyota Hilux Invincibles.
We have had completed these specs in the past but have since revamped and improved these designs with Megalo’s new racking systems available only through us at The Van Hubb.
For the two specs we started by adding a Utility top to the beds of the trucks.
Next we added a phenolic nonslip floor to the vehicle, and a steel sub frame. Then we fitted the new drawer systems provided by Megalo, two different designs that work over a set spec.
Option 1: This consists of a single open top heavy-duty pull-out drawer with steel frame and a slam lock handle rated at 160kg load capacity. The bespoke infills contain a 12V socket which runs off the 2000W Pure sine wave inverter system we fit on it own 95ah AGM battery, and switched led lighting too.
We then add a phenolic top before fitting a pull-out sled system with tray and slam lock handle to the centre and a bespoke 2 tier steel racking system to both the offside and nearside all provided by Megalo.
These vehicles will also have beacons to the roof and grille area for working on motorways.
Option 2: Again, this starts with a phenolic floor and steel subframe.
We then add two Megalo closed heavy-duty pull-out floor drawers with cargo locks in place of the single option 1 pull out drawer. These are loaded rated at 100kg each and have dividable sections.
The side infills here contain switched LED lighting, and a 240V socket running off a 2000W pure sine wave inverter, on a 95ah AGM battery system away from the OEM ancillary power.
After installation of a phenolic top, we add the same bespoke Megalo 2 tier steel racking system to the nearside and offside, and a pull out tool chest to the centre of the build.
